Here are some profound ways of taking care of your babies, beyond warm cuddles and snuggles, in the chilly climate.

    Physical Care

    1.   Warm clothes

Since your furry baby is a pup, allow it to get comfortable with dawning clothes of different types – warm ones, rain-jackets and boots, T’s etc., so they don’t hate it when it is time to actually wear them. Winters call for wearing warm clothes not only for you but for your pet-buddies too. Gift them some warmth this chilly season.

    2.   Comfortable bedding

The cold winters will have your little one cuddle up in their blanket and warm bedding most of the times. Make sure you give them the right stuff to snuggle and warm up. Any soft quality blanket that won’t create static current should be good to comfort them.

    3.   Hydrated and moisturised Skin

Cold climate may lead to dryness in the skin which extends into itchy conditions. Most pet also have to romance the flakes of dandruff on their skin. This is terrible and needs soothing. Using the right shampoo and conditioner or moisturisers is of essence. The best you can make use of is Bathright organic massage coconut oil for best results. 4.   Fur-coat

You may have experienced those electric pricks during winters. Because your furry babies have dense fur coat, they are quite capable of experiencing these static pricks much like you. Use a good body hydrant that may keep those shocks at bay. Again, Bathright organic massage coconut oil for pets can be one of the greatest options that can nourish and take care of the dryness too. 6.   Do not shave them

Fur coat is their saviour. It provides your pet babies warmth when they truly need to be protected from harsh winters. Whatever type of fur coat they have, just hold on, don’t chop it off yet.

      7.   Adjust their walking hours

Set up a new routine and align them accordingly. You want to be safe yourself and want to keep your beloved pet too safe. Therefore, keep the poopy walk hours not too early in the morning and not too late during the evenings. This new routine will also allow some natural sunlight to seep in and add up to both of your health. Also, if you have given them a rinse, allow them to dry completely before taking them out anywhere.

        8.   Keep them active

The more active they are, the better it could be for them. More activities and playing may help warm up their bodies naturally. Additionally it compensates for not being able to spend too much time outdoors due to cold. Their energies are utilised progressively when they are engaged better at home. Provide interactive toys, play fetch or tug or simply chase each other.

          9.   Maissen Pet dry sheet

Maissen pet dry sheets are always your knight in shining armour. If at all you feel the need to skip a couple of walks, it is okay so long as you have the pet dry sheet on you. Nutritional Care

Your pet babies may not require heavy meals during winters. In fact they consciously need to be fed with lesser amount of fat or protein at peak winters. However, a little amount of fat is essential to keep them warm and comfortable within.

Your little ones need you to feed them special. Winters can be harsh on them and the only way to calm them internally is by feeding them nutritious warm food. Here are a few easy recipes that may help you keep them warm and hearty –

          • Warm Chicken soup or broth – Most pets, cats and dogs love chicken. It’s super easy to ready a broth for them or a simple paw’licious soup. Pressure cook 3-4 pieces of boneless chicken, 4-5 carrot cubes and some celery in 6 cups of water. You may also add a spoonful of rolled oats to make the consistency thicker. Serve them when it cools down or is lukewarm.
          • Warm Vegetable stew – Cook some pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot in 6 cups water. Strain and feed your doggos. You may even mash those carrot chunks. Feel free to add some rolled oats to make the consistency richer.
          • Oatmeal bowl – There is no better fibre rich, home cooked food for our pooches than veggies and some chicken cooked in oatmeal. They would, for a change, love to feast on this warm delighting bowl, other than their usual food. Want to add flavours? Add a pinch of cinnamon and yay, it’s ready to be served.
          • Warm water – Add some warm water to their dry kibble if you feed them those. If you feed your fur buddies wet food you may still add some warm water to it. It not only makes their cold food better but also enhances the taste.
          • Nutribles organic virgin coconut oil – Did you know that this pet-edible coconut oil from Nutribles is exceptionally healthy for your paw buddies. Adding it to pet food helps adding some more value and nutrition to their food. It may also help the elderly and grown-ups some joint-aid and flexibility in movement since winters also gets stiffness to the body.

Some very basic things to follow throughout winters. Do not feed them curd, especially during the late evening hours. Secondly, keep a check on their drinking water that may get cold due to low temperature. Keep changing the water frequently so as to avoid them to bunk drinking water and becoming dehydrated.
