UNE: The Petgala featuring 250 cats from around the world has been organized on Sunday (November 13) at the Deccan College Grounds. Saqib Pathan, President of the Feline Club of India informed that there will also be a gathering of 2000 dogs along with their owners on this occasion.
Pathan further said, four international examiners have been appointed for this ‘cat show’. These include Australia’s Alan Raymond, America’s Jan Rogers, Indonesia’s Fadli Fuad and Indra Lubis. 12 species of cats will participate in the ‘Cat Show’ including Persian, Maine Coon, Bengal, and Indimaou. The aim of this campaign is to provide as many cats and dogs as possible with homes where they will be given special care and attention.
So animal lovers can adopt dogs and cats. Dog running games, pool parties, pet fashion shows and other games are organized here for the entertainment of pets. A lot of animals are treated cruelly or neglected in today’s day. Pet show ‘Petgala’ is working to inculcate the feeling of sensitivity and affection towards animals.
