Bengaluru: A two-day gala for pets, their parents and pet lovers is happening this weekend in Bengaluru. Pet Fed, ‘India’s biggest pet festival’, is all set to host the furry friends from November 19 to 20 at Jayamahal Palace Grounds.
“All pet lovers assemble. If the multiverse was real, your furbaby would choose you in every verse. Pet Fed returns so that you can give them two dedicated days of love they deserve. India’s biggest pet festival is back after three years at Jayamahal Palace Grounds,” the organisers said.
The two-day event will have more than 100 stalls selling products for your pets from across the globe. Adoption camps will be organised as part of the fest and grooming training will also be offered.
An international cat show, a security dog show and a fashion show for pets will also be taking place. Gamings and activities for pets, programmes like ‘Pets Got Talent’, and buffet for pets are in the fray.
People can visit the fest with or without a pet. However, entry is free for people with desi-breed pets. “We want to encourage the adoption of Indie pets so we have decided to have the entry for people with Indie pets free,” Pet Fed founder Akshay Gupta said.
The tickets can be purchased from the Pet Fed official website.
According to the organisers, Pet Fed holds a Limca Book of Records entry as the ‘biggest dog carnival’ in India. With over 962 dogs which participated over two days for the record and footfall of more than 19400 humans, this biggest pet socialization carnival happens every year across Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.
